This section is used to configure the options pertaining to email notifications and newsletters.
Click on General settings in the Administration menu, select Email options from the section menu.
Set the following options:
• Use internal PHP mailer for sending newsletters: Select this check box if you want to use the internal PHP mailer instead of spam.pl script.
• HTML mail: Enable this option if you want to send HTML e-mails.
• Encode mail headers using "Base 64": Enable this option to encode the subject of your message if necessary.
• Include order details (credit card information) into admin order notification message (it is recommended to use PGP encryption with this option enabled): If this option is enabled admin will get your customers' credit card information with order notifications. PGP is recommended to secure your customers' privacy.
• Include user password in e-mail notifications to the Users department: Users' passwords will automatically be included into the e-mail notification.
• Maximum string length field allows you to set the maximum string length of the lines in the message body.
Click on Save to apply the changes.
