This section enables you to select various modules options.
Note. To select the modules to be used with your X-Cart store see topic Selecting Modules.
Click on General settings in the Administration menu, select Modules options from the section menu.
Set the options below according to your preferences:
• Show expired Gift Certificates: If selected, expired Gift certificates will be shown to the shop admin (valid only if Gift Certificates module is enabled).
• Minimum Gift Certificate value: Use the field to define the minimum cost of a Gift certificate (Gift Certificates module).
• Maximum Gift Certificate value (0 if unlimited): Use the field to define the maximum cost of a Gift Certificate (Gift Certificates module).
• Number of products in bestsellers list: Use the field to define how many products you want to be displayed in the bestsellers list. Bestsellers list is displayed on the storefront if Bestsellers module is enabled.
• Select recommended products randomly: If checked, products for the recommended products list will be selected at random (Recommended products module).
• Number of products to be displayed in recommended products list: Use the field to define how many products you want to be displayed in your recommended products list (Recommended products module).
• Allow viewing reviews: Selecting this check box enables your customers to view product reviews written by other customers (Customer reviews module). Unselecting this check box hides Customer reviews section from the Product rating form.
• Allow voting: Selecting this check box enables your customers to rate your products by selecting product ratings from the drop-down box (Customer reviews module). Unselecting this check box hides Product rating section from customers.
• Allow adding reviews: Choose one of the three options (Customer reviews module):
N - disallow to all (none of your customers will be allowed to add their reviews),
A - allow to all (any customer who wishes to add a review of a product will be able to do so),
R - allow to registered (only registered customers will be allowed to add reviews).
• Froogle username: Use this field to enter your Froogle username (used to export products in Froogle compatible format)
• Froogle password: Use this field to enter your Froogle password.
• Show thumbnails in bestsellers list: If selected, a thumbnail picture will be shown in the bestsellers list next to the product name (Bestsellers module).
• Show bestsellers list in the menu column: If selected, the bestsellers list will be shown in the menu column on the customer front-end (Bestsellers module).
• Enable posting Gift Certificates by mail: Select this option if you want to send Gift certificates by mail (Gift Certificate module).
• Gift Certificate blocking period (to prevent multiple usage of the same Gift Certificate) (minutes): When your customer uses a Gift Certificate to pay for the products in his shopping cart, this Gift Certificate is blocked for the time period (in minutes) specified in this field. This is needed to prevent multiple usage of the same Gift Certificate (Gift Certificate module).
• Secret key to avoid non-authorized usage of Subscriptions module: Use this field to enter your secret key.
• Open Product details page in a new window when a customer clicks on a product link in "Related products" list: If selected, the details of a related product will be opened in a new window.
• Antifraud safe distance (km): Enter the maximum allowable distance (in kilometers) between a customer's billing address location and his IP address location.
• Order total threshold (an order is considered large if the order total exceeds this amount): Enter the 'threshold' order subtotal amount that will be used by Antifraud service for fraud risk evaluation. If the subtotal of an order exceeds this value, Antifraud server uses an additional coefficient to increase the fraud risk factor rate of the order.
• Fraud risk factor (Antifraud module). If fraud risk factor is greater than this limit, order status will be 'Queued': Enter the fraud risk factor limit you would like to use for Antifraud module (a value from 1 to 10).
E.g. Suppose, you set the value of this field to 5. Now if a customer provides data the fraud risk factor of which is evaluated by Antifraud module as 5 (50% fraud), his order will not be processed automatically. The status 'Queued' will be assigned to this order and it will be put off for you to process it manually.
• Antifraud module subscription key: Use this field to enter your Antifraud module service key.
• Manufacturers list limit: Use the field to define the maximum number of manufacturers to be displayed in the Manufacturers list on the storefront.
• Show manufacturers list in the menu column: If selected, the Manufacturers list will be shown in the menu column.
• Manufacturers per page (admin): Use the field to define the maximum number of manufacturers to be shown per page in the Manufacturers section of the admin zone.
• Forcedly to turn on Manual CC processing if the cart contains EGoods: Select this check box if you want to use Manual CC processing for orders containing EGoods.
• The dynamic updating of the Save Money label depending on the selected product options is enabled: Select this option to enable dynamic updating of the Save Money label.
Click on Save to save the changes.
