If you purchased X-Cart Affiliate module, you will need to set XAffiliate options for your store.
Click on General settings in the Administration menu, select XAffiliate options from the section menu.
Set the options below:
• Specify how long a partner cookie should be stored on a customer's computer (days). Leave empty if you do not want to store it: A customer who learned about your store from one of your partners may come to order products at your store not immediately, but in a few days. If by the time the customer places an order the partner cookie is still stored on his computer, X-Cart recognizes him as the one referred to the store site by a particular partner and calculates the partner's commission. If you choose not to store partner cookies on your customers' computers, partner's commission will be calculated and paid only if a customer buys something at your store coming directly from a partner's site.
• Maximum number of partnership levels: Specify the maximum number of levels for multi tier partnership.
• Multi tier partnership is enabled: If you select this check box, multi tier partners will be enabled.
• Moderated partner registration: If you select this check box, those who sign up for partner membership with your store will need to get administrator's approval to actually become partners.
• Enable partners to see order totals: If you select this check box, totals of the orders made via a partner will be included into the table shown to the partner in his personal area.
• Display banners in Administration area as IFRAME: If you select this check box, banners will be displayed in Administration area as IFRAME.
• Allow partners to register: If you select this check box, anyone will be able to sign-up for partner membership with your store. If you disallow partners to register, only admin will be able to create new partner profiles. See topic Managing User Profiles for details
Click on Save.
